Which Hollywood Movie Releases Are You Waiting For In The Year 2014?

The much awaited sequel ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ has just released to an overwhelming performance at the Box office. The movie scored a much better opening than its predecessor and earned $158 million over the opening weekend. Which movies are you looking out for?

We, at ArtworkServicesUSA, have compiled a list of the movies we look forward to in 2014. Hope you like the list! The expected month of release is in brackets.

1. OPEN GRAVE (January): Starring Sharlto Copley of ‘District 13’ fame, this horror movie is based on the theme of memory loss and unfamiliar settings.

2. LONE SURVIVOR (January) – Those interested in American soldiers fighting the Taliban can wait for this action flick. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Eric Bana and Marc Foster.

3. THE LEGO MOVIE (February) – Who doesn’t love Lego toys? This movie will feature the voices of Chris Pratt, Channing Tatum, Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson, among others.

4. ROBOCOP (February) – Fans of the earlier Robocop movie series should look forward to this version as well. The movie is set in 2041 and promises to provide you with quality action entertainment.

5. THE MONUMENTS MEN (February) – George Clooney, Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray and Cate Blanchett. Enough said.

6. NON-STOP (February) – Liam Neeson in another high adrenaline action flick. This time it’s high up in the air onboard a transatlantic flight!

7. 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE (March) – Watch out for this sequel. Gerard Butler won’t be there of course since he was killed off in the original.

8. NEED FOR SPEED (March) – This movie is going to take on the Fast and Furious series head-on!

9. CAPTAIN AMERICA (April): THE WINTER SOLDIER (March) – Chris Evans reprises his role as Captain America and teams up with Black Widow to take on evil forces.

10. RIO 2 (April) – Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Leslie Mann and Jamie Foxx star in this sequel to the adorable and hit original.

11. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 (May) – Fans of Andrew Garfield’s version of Spiderman should look forward to this one!

12. GODZILLA (May) – Radioactive Godzilla is back to wreck vengeance on mankind.

13. THE PURGE 2 (June) – The Purge was the surprise hit of 2013. Expect the sequel to do better.

14. TRANSFORMERS 4 AGE OF EXTINCTION (June): Mark Wahlberg joins the cast of the latest Transformers movie.

15. FAST AND THE FURIOUS 7 (July): With all movies in the Fast & Furious franchise becoming monster hits, it was only logical to bring another installment. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reprise their roles.

16. HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS (July) – Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been piling on the weight for his role Hercules role. Expect a full-fledged action bonanza.

17. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (August): Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael are back in August!

18. THE EXPENDABLES 3 (August) – A highly anticipated sequel for Stallone fans. Expect a stellar cast as usual.

19. RESIDENT EVIL 6 (September) – Milla Jovovich will be back as Alice to fight the Red Queen.

20. THE MAZE RUNNER (September) – Based on a novel, this movie tells the story of a couple of boys trying to escape from a huge maze.

21. PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 (October) – This movie is another installment in the horror series.

22. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (October) – A family movie starring Steve Carrel and Jennifer Garner. Ed Oxenbould plays the kid Alexander.

23. DUMB AND DUMBER TO (November) – Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles in this buddy comedy. The story is set 20 years after the original.

24. THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY, PART 1 (November) – Expect another monster hit.

25. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 (December): Ben Stiller and Robin Williams return in this family adventure comedy.

26. THE HOBBIT: THERE AND BACK AGAIN – Bilbo and the Dwarves try to reclaim Erebor.
